Philippines: Laiya White Cove

What kind of vacation would it be like without going to the beach? This beach was about 2 and a half hours away from Cuenca, loong sitting but it was worth it.
When we actually went here a huge storm just hit so it wasn't in the best condition but it was still nice and pretty.

Coming to this beach I was really convinced that I was just going to take pictures and watch them swim because of my fear of the ocean. For me it just looks so scary. For other people, the ocean looks calming, but for me it looks mean *lol* But later in to the day, the beach became low tide. Even if you got to the middle it was still really shallow. So I was tempted to get in to the water. Later on my sisters and cousin really wanted to ride the boats and go island hoping. I did not want to go but a side comment like, "face your fears" got me! I decided to go on ahead and join them! I haven't even gotten on the boat and I was already nervous. Once the boat was in motion, I held on to my cousin like my life depended on it *which it did* during the boat ride, I started to cry *why am I sharing this to you all? I don't know* Just the thought of "how is this small boat able to hold this many people, we can sink any minute!!" If it wasn't any better, they wanted to see the corals so the people who were managing the boats stopped in the middle of the ocean where the corals were for 10 minutes! That was my worst nightmare, I did not move a muscle!

Going in to that boat, I thought "The boat will sink and i will die!" Obviously that didn't happen because I am telling you all about my experience.
That experience was crazy! They said to face my fears, and I did! Does that mean i'll do it again? NO! Once was enough, I mean at least I got to experience what it felt like to ride a boat, go island hoping, and look at corals *i might not have done it the right way and just sat in the boat, but hey*
